- A spring chicken at age 61 with 30 years in the construction field and 10 years in social work. Now its time to retire - but on what?
Not to worry. Making money to retire on is not a problem. Its just a new direction in life. And it seems it can be done doing things I like. So here I am.
What do I love? I love to squeak. Life has brought me to the point where my joints squeak. But it doesn't keep me from the garden, or out of the shop. and all that is good and wonderful. And I love to squeak about the realities of life. If for nothing else - At least I say it and refuse to allow it to become burden so heavy it can't be moved.
What aggravates me? Just about everything about the insanity of life today. Bills, taxes, the war, global warming, people starving, injustice etc etc etc... Nobody listens nobody cares. Not true but what can I or you do about changing it all?
Well I can squeak a bit and add your squeak to mine, And join with the rest of the squeakers. We can become a squeak so loud that those in power, the con artists and all the rest might begin to hear us. Wishful thinking? yes absolutely. All these things have been going on since man arrived and the squeakers have always been ignored by everyone but themselves. They throw us cookies but the problems always remain. But I can squeak and thus I shall if for nothing else but to laugh at myself and move on.
Hope this helps you to know me better. Now on to finding what I'll do next in life.
