Feeding and Clothing Children in Need - Response to the Poverty in Haiti

For the past 2 years, we have been building homes for orphaned children in Haiti and Africa. Our Company, Triad Media, and my family have contributed to help build several orphanages and financially support over 100 children on a monthly business though our business, family and friends.

Today, I received an urgent email from Louis St. Germain in Haiti. His organization takes care of all these children and about 2100 more. Louis is someone I greatly admire and respect. His dedication is truly an inspiration.

Here is his letter.

God is doing great work in Haiti and you are part of it. As you know, ESMI is ministering to over 2200 orphaned children. Due to the struggling economy, the support needed for the children has dropped by
40%.

We are obligated to take care of these children that God place under our care. We need help in order to care for these children. We are praying that you can come along side of us to minister to those orphans who have
nowhere to go. We need your help.

This is the list of food that is urgently needed. It is needed right now.

1 - 30 bags of sugar at USD 32.5
2 - 300 bags of corn at 14.37 USD
3 - 30 bags of peas to USD 62.5
4 - 600 bags of rice to 20 USD
5 - 161 gallons of oil 4.33USD

We had an inspection in Gonaives and we were required to destroy a couple classrooms in the school at Fayeton because the structures were not up to standard. The school board also requested that we build new benches for our schools. As school is about to re-open in a couple weeks, we have an urgent need to build 350 school benches at $85 a piece, black boards for the classrooms are also needed. So it is urgent for us to move on with the fund raising because we are running out of time.
